Supply of Impact Capital
Supply of impact capital represents actors that provide funding, directly or indirectly, to impact businesses.
The supply of impact capital is largely dominated by Development Finance Institutions (DFIs). Pension funds, foundations, High Net Worth Individuals, and crowdfunding platforms have very limited activity. Local and international suppliers of capital controls a total of USD 2.86 billion funds targeted partly or fully for impact investments of which local suppliers account for only 16%.
